Hello!

Golden Thread Psychology provides educational psychology services to schools and other educational settings in Warwickshire and the surrounding counties.

Born out of a desire to support schools in meeting the ever-growing demands being placed on them, Golden Thread Psychology values building relationships with dedicated education staff.

Our role as Educational Psychologists (EPs) is to bring people together to form a cohesive understanding of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

This is sometimes referred to as the 'golden thread', as it binds together the nuances that make a person who they are, and helps those around them to influence effective, positive change.

We believe that strong relationships with the key people in a child's life are central to the work of any effective educational psychologist. First and foremost, we approach children, families and school staff with kindness and respect.

SERVICES FOR SCHOOLS

Contracts

Contracts allow you to use your EP time in the most efficient and effective way. Buying a chunk of time allows for forward planning as well as guaranteed consistency through a named educational psychologist.

Training

Training is a powerful way of building a knowledge bank within your setting that supports cohorts of children for years to come. As the proverb states, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.

Assessments

Much like the children we work with, there's no 'one size fits all' when it comes to assessments. Purchasing an individual assessment is a useful way of gaining EP support to unpick a situation that might feel stuck.

NOT SURE WHAT YOU NEED?

Arrange a free 30 minute no obligation discussion with one of our Educational Psychologists.

Often, by the time you are thinking about involving an Educational Psychologist, the situation has become quite complex. It can be tricky to know exactly what support you might need.

That's why we offer a free 30 minute no obligation discussion to give you the space to think about how to move the situation forward and to advise you on the support package that would best meet your needs.

Prioritising trust, openness and honesty, Golden Thread Psychology will never deliver a service that is greater than what the situation calls for, meaning you should always be getting value for money.
