Golden Thread Psychology is currently in a period of growth, with new schools and community projects in the pipeline over the coming months.

We therefore have an exciting opportunity to expand the team to meet the needs of our community, offering a range of experiences for our employees with regard to their own Continuous Professional Development and career progression.

Golden Thread Psychology wishes to be a company that works for its workers, as much as its workers working for it. If there's something you require from your employment, get in touch and let us work collaboratively with you to consider how that can be achieved!

Maingrade Educational Psychologist
Golden Thread Psychology operates a ‘Named EP’ system, whereby each school is allocated a specific EP. We believe this is best practice as it allows for strong, trusting relationships to form between staff and results in effective and efficient service delivery. As a Named EP, you will be responsible for communicating with your allocated schools, holding planning meetings and undertaking the breadth of work requested.

Past projects have included Circles of Adults, systemic review of school non-attendance provision and whole class observations. Golden Thread Psychology does not undertake statutory advice writing or tribunal work.
As the team grows, Golden Thread Psychology also plans to run research and community-based projects, shaped around the interests of its employees.
Associate Educational Psychologist
We believe that our best work can be achieved through the forming of trusting relationships with our schools. We therefore prioritise a 'Named EP' working model with our contracted schools and community projects.

However, there are occasions where additional work requests are received and in those moments, Golden Thread Psychology needs passionate, reliable and values-driven Associate Educational Psychologists to work on an ad hoc basis to support service delivery.

We appreciate that the nature of life means there are times where we need greater flexibility and so it is hoped that the Associate model will open up greater opportunities for Educational Psychologists to collaborate with Golden Thread Psychology.
